Fresh Gelato by Ilvero Gelateria

I am not a gelato lover but this place is something that i'd personally love to suggest to all people. Not only because it's located nearby my office, but it also has a unique instagram-able small place that you guys should try.


Ilvero Gelateria just opened for few months but it was already been overwhelmingly well-known and even been coveraged by national tv. Located at Permata Hijau this gelato bar offers a simply happiness for my tedious routines. Every time i got boring at the office or craving for sweet after lunch this classic italian gelato is the answer.

Actually i've seen this place at glance so many times but never make it for a visit. After finally my manager asked me that she's craving for an ice cream then i suggested to give this place a shot. An voila! This italian artisan gelato was beyond our expectation. If you're passing through the Permata Hijau area about 200m from Belezza towards to Jl. Panjang you'll notice a big colourful of body truck that has been modified into a small cafe with a petshop underneath.

The place is not big though, but i found it so cozy. Run by a friendly couple, Ilvero Gelateria offers lots of flavor that continously changing. Well sometimes it upset me because i can not always get the flavor that i want when i come over. But in a good way, it makes me could try the other insteresting flavor instead.

Flavour that i really like are the Dragonfruit and mango, not forget to mention their special cioccolato extranoir which is made of pure dark chocolate. One time i arrived too early when it's just opened not even for an hour, at glance i saw the owner prepared all the fresh fruits and other ingridients to make the gelato. No wonder if their gelato deserve to be called as sorbet because it was freshly made with pure fruits and also real chocolate. Though they always changed the flavour with such uncertainty, trust me you'll not regret every single flavour that you try. Another flavour that i've ever tried was the salted caramel with biscuit + bacio and also hazelnut coffee. To enjoy the delicious gelato by this Italian artisan gelato, no need to worry you have to spend much because it have a very affordable price for such an exquisite taste. Only with IDR 25K then you'll have rights to easily pick two interesting flavours for your cone or cup ( if you want to avoid the over drip of it ). Yet if you prefer to have your gelato in cup but also wondering how the cone taste you need to spend more IDR 3K for an extra cone. Prepare yourself before you decided to try this place, because it was so addictive. I've been here for like 5th times in a month i guess. Such a truly guilty pleasure <3 IL Vero Gelateria Jl.
